2026 Wren Community Club Free Concert Series

Thanks to a generous grant from the Benton County Cultural Coalition, the Wren Community Club (WCC) is pleased to announce that they are hosting a three-event 2026 Concert Series! 

Each family-friendly concert is free, will be held in the historic Wren Community Hall and will be preceded by a community potluck – participants have the option of attending just the potluck, just the concert or both. If attending a potluck, please bring a dish to share and table service. 

The potlucks and free concerts are open to the public; donations for the WCC will be accepted at the door.

Saturday, June 20 – Drum Circle Connection

For those unfamiliar with the format, a drum circle is a shared rhythmic

experience where people come together to connect through music, including drums and a variety of percussion instruments. This will be an interactive concert for those who wish to actively participate. Experience the Power of Drumming!

Doors open at 5:30, the potluck begins at 6 PM 

and the concert is from 7-8 PM.

Sunday, August 23 – Tuesday String Band

This bluegrass trio is made up of Western Oregon University music students and alumni who are all dedicating their lives to careers in music. Tuesday String Band plays a wide range of high energy bluegrass tunes, new and old. They are on a mission to keep the string band tradition alive and to educate the next generation of pickers, and they are proud to be a contributing member band with the Oregon Bluegrass Association.

Doors open at 4:30, the potluck begins at 5 PM 

and the concert is from 6-8 PM.

Tuesday String Band

Sunday, October 11 – The Nettles

This group plays improvisational music based on traditional tunes. Playing

hard, The Nettles are a Celtic jam band that makes audiences move and

groove. Playing soft, they're a lyrical folk jazz group.

Doors open at 4:30, the potluck begins at 5PM and the concert is from 6-

8PM.

Note: Attendees are welcome to bring beverages into the Hall; however, alcohol is not allowed on the premises (building, grounds, or parking lot).

The Wren Community Hall is located at 35515 Hwy 223 (Kings Valley Hwy). If traveling west on Hwy 20 from Philomath, the Hwy 223 intersection is about 5 miles from Philomath and the Hall is located about 1.5 miles north on Hwy 223, just past Cardwell Hill Drive.
